Description

This 3D printable Hay Barn is part of the Torbridge Cull 3D printed terrain line

“Colder than a night in a Beryl Way hay barn.” – Local saying reflecting the harsh conditions that pervade the Beryl Way microclimate.

Far beyond the reaches of help from Torbridge Cull, way down south along the Old Beryl Way where it skirts the edges of the endless forest, live a particularly hardy stock of frontiersmen. People from the ‘Cull semi-pejoratively call them “stone farmers”, both because of the huge amounts of stone they’ve had to clear from their land and because of their stoic manner and hardy lives.

These farmers and frontiersmen live on the edge of the vast unknown of the Endless Forest, and some are closer to the border with the desert lands than they are to Torbridge Cull. Contact with Cullmen is seldom, and some remote families probably only deal with folk from the ‘Cull once or twice a year. They probably see more desert bandits skulking in the foothills of the ambush cliffs than they do fellow Talharians.

The Stone Farmers have made good use of the great deal of stone cleared from their land to build their crude but effective outbuildings. Often, the bare necessities are all that these farmers have time and resources to build, but these simple buildings have proven themselves sturdy and effective for generations.
