“No one else cares. I mean REALLY cares. I never knew one of them monks from the abbey was a guy I could just sit down and talk with. And drink mead. Lots of mead.”  – Perno Aguipa, Last Hearth Inn tavern regular

Sure Rudyard worships the Light, but what he really loves is honey mead. Rudyard is responsible for holding services at the shrine to the light in town every week. And because he’s regularly heading down the hill, he’s also been tasked by the abbey to bring mead down to town to sell at the market. About 1/2 the mead makes it to market. The other 1/2 he shares with his “congregation” and they spend the afternoon hours drinking sweet honey mead together.
