Ruined Bridge (bridge expansion set)

USD $12.95

These modular, ruined medieval bridge sections are meant to be used with the Medieval Modular Bridge (Core Set). The pieces contained in this pack add a detailed range of broken and damaged sections of the bridge that work seamlessly with the core set and allow for a wide variety of configurations. With this set you can replace entire sections of the bridge with ruined parts, or simply cap the edges of your existing bridge sections with ruined edges. Use the fully destroyed weirs to create huge gaps in the ruined bridge, or simply place some of the new ruined sections on top of whole or partially broken weirs to create gaps that the average person could ‘almost’ jump across…

Add even more modularity and options to the Medieval Modular Bridge set with The Bridge Tor Expansion, the Bridge Gangways, the Drawbridge, Bridge Gates, the Stone Debris Piles and the upcoming Bridge Tor (Ruins).

Description

This 3D printable Ruined Bridge expansion is part of the Torbridge Cull 3D printed terrain set and is designed to work with the Medieval Modular Bridge (Core Set).

“I had a nightmare, a vision most terrifying. The Torbridge lay in ruin; it’s arches smashed and broken, it’s colossal weirs crumbling into the river. Fire blazed in the Tor, and smoke billowed out into a winter sky. The bodies of guardsmen from the Barrage floated downstream, and blood soaked the snow on the paths leading from the bridge to the buildings on the north shore. I could hear the howling of wolves coming down from the mountains, and here and there throughout the old town came the sounds of desperate battle with an unknown foe. Then from the smoking Tor emerged a twisted but powerful figure. In it’s right hand it held a crude and bloody blade, and it dragged behind it the body of the guard captain. A moment later several other twisted men, all clad in thick leather clothing and bits of crude metal armour, came skulking out of the gate and began to make their way towards the heart of town. Their hunched and hideous bodies brought to my mind immediately the warnings our grandfather’s fathers had tried to drive home to a disbelieving generation of the battles fought with the brutal and savage man-things from the mountains. The realization hit me with the force of a blow: The Orelog had returned.” – Demoth Vadana, known to some as The Seer of the Northwoods

The visions of The Seer of the Northwoods range from the absurd to the eerily accurate. Would the Orelog (if they really exist) come again to bring ruin to Torbridge Cull? Would they be able to penetrate the awesome defenses of the Great Torbridge? Such a thought is truly chilling.
