The Endless Forest stretches from the south banks of the Taranach river all the way to the borderlands between the kingdom of Talharia and the beginning of the great southern deserts. It is a largely un-explored region, and there are many tales of the strange, wonderful, and dangerous things one might find within.
Through the Endless Forest winds the Old Beryl Way, an unmaintained road that becomes more and more overgrown the further south it gets. This road once carried trade from Brylinshor to Torbridge Cull, before the Darkness took the desert.
It is rumoured that shadows from the Darkness took refuge in the Endless Forest when Brylinshor fell.. and this rumour alone is enough to keep most people away from the region entirely.
